If you like the sound of Game of Thrones meets assassins, The Hunger Games and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire then stick around because Throne of Glass has it all.
I am so sorry for not posting in a very long. I have been very busy and also unmotivated until today from now I will be posting on my new blog and this one weekly because I have some exciting ideas coming soon. I also want to continue My Guide To Confidence project. But first I read a BOOK it's been a while since I read book.
To sum it up for non-spoilers...
Basically, It is about this assassin named Celaena she gets caught and is taken to this place called Endovier which is pretty much a death camp. The King of where she lives needs someone to do his killings and host a competition whoever wins this competition becomes the King's assassin. The Crown Prince Dorian hires Celaena to enter the competition and bunch of shit goes down. Honestly just read it because it's fantastic.
I love Celaena I think she is such a badass female character. She really shoves gender stereotypes up it's ass. She's funny, cute, beautiful and let's not forget a badass assassin. I'm pretty sure she's magical of some sort because she is just to good. Magic is banned in the place she lives BTW. I love her relationship with Nehima I thought it was nice that she had a girl to talk and not Chaol. Okay Chaol I do not like him that much I think he just doesn't show enough personality I love Dorian way more. I feel like if Celaena and Chaol do get together it will just looked forced. I'm just really sick of love- triangles I'm fine with love interests but triangles are just frustrating to me. I ship Dorian and Celaena so hard. I think they even out each other so well and Dorian is just the sweetest person ever I'm pretty sure Dorian is magic because his eyes are different from the king's and queen's. I absolutely hate Cain I knew all along that he was doing those things to the other people and I was so happy Chaol killed him.
Sorry I mostly talked about the characters but at least it wasn't nothing please read this book and discuss it with in the comments I would love to hear your thoughts and I like talking to people about books. Thanks so much for reading
Love, Hannah XXX
