Summer Reads

Where I live it's nearly summer! So here are some summer reads that would be perfect for the hot and steamy weather.

1. Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowel
This book is a really cute and a lovely story about two misfits who fall in love.
For me I like to read a lot of contemporary novels during summer.

2. Jasper Jones by Craig Silvey
I chose this book because it's set in Australia and the characters always complain about the hotness of climate. I call it the Australian To Kill a Mockingbird.

3. The Percy Jackson books by Rick Riordan
These books because Camp Half- Blood is like a summer camp and just the writing makes me feel like it's summer even when I'm re-reading it in winter.

4. Tape by Steven Cadman
I chose this because it's another cute love story.

5. Looking For Alaska by John Green
This book will give you all the feels and emotions. Also the writing makes you feel so hot because Myles is always thinking about how hot it is. I remember reading a majority of the novel at beach because I didn't feel like swimming.

Those were my top five summer reads. I know they may not apply to most people except the people that live down under. Anyway I hope you enjoyed. Please comment below your summer reads because I would love to know.
